Group Classes

New English Classes in Haarlem. 

Starting in Autumn 2026!

Would you like to improve your English in a small, friendly group?

From Autumn 2026, Haarlem English Lessons will be offering a new range of small-group English courses in Haarlem for adults at different levels.

Classes will have a minimum of 4 and maximum of 7 students, giving you plenty of opportunity to speak, ask questions and receive individual feedback while enjoying the social and motivating atmosphere of learning with a group.

Which courses will be available?

I am currently accepting registrations of interest for the following levels:

A1–A2: Elementary English (1.5 hours per week for 12 weeks)

For learners who have some basic English but would like to build a stronger foundation.

You will work on:

  • Everyday speaking and listening

  • Essential grammar

  • Building your vocabulary

  • Pronunciation

  • Reading and writing

  • Becoming more confident using English in everyday situations

B1–B2: Intermediate English (1.5 hours per week for 12 weeks)

For learners who can already communicate in English but want to become more confident, accurate and fluent.

You will work on:

  • Speaking more naturally and confidently

  • Expanding your vocabulary

  • Improving grammar and accuracy

  • Pronunciation and listening skills

  • Discussing a wider range of topics

  • Using English for work, travel and everyday life

B2–C1: Upper-Intermediate & Advanced English (1.5 hours per week for 12 weeks)

For confident English speakers who want to take their English to a higher level.

Lessons will focus on:

  • Developing fluency and natural conversation

  • Advanced vocabulary and expressions

  • Pronunciation and speaking skills

  • More complex grammar

  • Articles, videos and current topics

  • Discussions and debates

  • Professional and social English

Small Classes – More Time to Speak

Learning a language means using it, so speaking and communication will be an important part of every course.

With only 4–7 students per class, you won’t spend the lesson sitting quietly and listening to a teacher. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to speak, work with other students and practise using English in realistic situations.

Lessons will combine speaking, listening, vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar, with activities adapted to the needs and interests of each group.

Which classes will start?

The final timetable will depend on demand.

If you’re interested, simply let me know your current English level and the days/times when you are available. Once enough students at a similar level have registered, I will contact you with the proposed class and timetable.
